Young Professional in Software Development

We are a world-wide operating software company. Our expertise is the realization of innovative solutions for the IT management based on a service-oriented architecture (SOA). As committer to open source projects (e.g. Apache ServiceMix) we not only use open source technologies, but also actively contribute to them.

Currently we are expanding towards further functionality of our MIDAS product family and are looking for a Java software developer.

Location: Stuttgart

Your Tasks

Within a team you develop software solutions for the IT management, i.e. for the monitoring and control of large, complex IT environments.
You participate in specification, design, implementation and test of corresponding software products and solutions for large enterprises.
You learn specific customer requirements, technologies, development methods and tools and use them.

By joining our team, you will be part of a focused and empowered software development team with world-wide responsibility for the development of components for our MIDAS product family.You will be working on on all phases throughout the software lifecycle.You develop step by step towards a technical expert or a project lead.As experienced software developer, you support our customers with your expertise, and are also an important internal facilitator.As project lead you will be responsible for functionality, schedules and costs within development projects.The participation on international fairs and symposiums enhance your expertise and helps to keep it up to date.

Your Profile

You hold an excellent masters degree (university or advanced technical college) in computer science or as Mathematician / Engineer / Natural Scientist with programming knowledge.You have the following qualifications and experiences on the corresponding areas:

• fundamental knowledge of software engineering and its methodology

• fundamental knowledge of object-oriented programming

• programming experience in Java

• pragmatic problem solving approach

• good communication skills

• you enjoy team work

• like to learn new technologies and methods

• solid English
